Jay's Media Wiki

On this wiki, there are rules to follow. Failure to follow these rules will lead to either a block or a strike.

General

  • This is an English wiki, so please use English whenever you can.
    • Wiki pages that feature poor English will very simply be corrected with a quick edit.
  • If there are any instances of "XXXX" present in any page, then that means it is a placeholder. Do not do anything to them or think it is vandalism, as I will add the right information when the time comes.
  • If the page says nothing but a variation of "PRESERVED PAGE", then leave these pages alone. They will be worked on when I have the chance to.

"What pages can I add on this wiki?"

You are allowed to add pages about official media by Jay that don't have pages yet, such as characters, locations, games, series and other stuff. Make sure that the page covers OFFICIAL content. Pages regarding things not seen in Jay's media will not be allowed.

Here's a few examples of what can be allowed to be in the Jay's Media Wiki:

  • People involved in Jay's media or people that Jay helped can have pages in the wiki dedicated to them. They MUST have information regarding how they and Jay are involved with each other.
  • Characters or locations created by other people (mostly Jay's allies) are allowed to have pages in the wiki if they appear in at least one of Jay's series or games (except if they are easter eggs). Otherwise, they should only be briefly mentioned in their creator's page. (for example, Kir10 has a page in the wiki because he appeared in Ultimate JOLLY Night, while Old Blob (from Two Dumb Nights at Blob's) doesn't since he only appeared as an Easter Egg in GEORGE: Tiger Eye.)

Here's a few examples of what can NOT be allowed to be in the Jay's Media Wiki:

  • There is an upcoming satirical game based on Georgiger's made by Chicho. However, the game and anything relating to it will not have any pages on the wiki since it isn't canon, and that Jay has no creative control over the game despite the game being based on his own game and characters.
  • Aftermath, a game made by Kirby100 that's heavily based on Jay's old concept of Mashed Up, will not have a page despite having almost the same cast of characters as Mashed Up, since the game itself isn't canon due to it being a different person's vision of the game.
  • Stuff that Jay did not make at all will not have pages. The only reason why the Five Nights at the AGK Studio series had a page in this wiki in the past was because the FNaTAS wiki didn't exist at the time, and now that it does exist, the page didn't have a reason to exist anymore. If you scroll down the wiki's image list far enough and find FNaTAS stuff in it, then this is why.
  • Stuff that is already featured in a new wiki I have, which I won't refer to by name or send a link to for obvious reasons. The new wiki has pages relating to Symbolics, One Jolly Day: Alteration Revision, the JOLLY Paradox series, Ultimate JOLLY Night: Legacy Edition, a Time Lords reboot series and Mashed Up. Therefore, these series and anything relating to it should not have pages on this wiki in order to avoid competition. If there are any leftover stuff relating to these pages such as redlinks, I'll make sure to remove them. Images will not be removed.

Pages with "Gallery" and "History" sub-pages

Pages can only warrant these sub-pages if there is more than one game's worth of content to cover on the main page.

If a page doesn't have much in terms of history and galleries, then separate pages will not be created.

This is the format you must follow when creating a necessary new page.

JOLLY FHP (Fanmade, Horrors and Paradox) and One Jolly Day-related media

  • If a character appears in both JOLLY FHP and One Jolly Day, place the two-way navbox first. Otherwise, skip this. This is specifically for character and location pages.
  • Place the three-way navbox which leads to the main page, the history, and the gallery.
  • Place any notice templates if needed, such as if the character or location appears in the official JOLLY series or if the character, location, game or series is canon to JOLLY FHP or OJD.
    • If the character appears in the official JOLLY series, the template will have a page linking to the JOLLY wiki's page of the character. This is to prevent confusion.
    • The 'non-canon' template determines that the character isn't canon to whatever series they're in, which can also clear confusion.
  • If the page is related to JOLLY FHP, then the character/location/game needs to be sorted by tabbers. The Paradox iteration of the character/location/game needs to be the first iteration seen in the page as it is the most recent, with the Horrors iteration being the next one, and finally the Fanmade iteration. The same thing applies to the History and Gallery pages.
  • If the page is related to One Jolly Day, then the character/location needs to be sorted by tabbers showcasing the "The Full Experience" iteration, and then the original series iteration. The same thing applies to the History and Gallery pages.
  • Place the grand navbox last, if there is one.

Other media

  • Place the three-way navbox which leads to the main page, the history, and the gallery.
  • Place any notice templates if needed.
  • Place the infobox after the notice templates.
  • Place the grand navbox last, if there is one.

Articles barred from creation

There are many pages and subjects about Jay's media and his involvements with other people's works. However, the wiki has a blacklist of articles that are barred from creation. Any attempt to recreate this page will result in a strike.

Here is the list of pages that shouldn't be recreated for various reasons:

  • List of involved drama/situations - An article that used to be on the wiki that lists all the drama Jay is involved in, including petty ones such as him being salty over Spongy being eliminated in Battle for BFB. The page was removed after the Jolly Discord server discovered it and mocked Jay for it, which was one of the many factors which led Jay to fall out with the Jolly community. It is to stay deleted since Jay believes keeping the page up isn't a good look for him or the wiki at all.
  • Fantasy videos - The 'Fantasy' videos are a series of videos made by Jay in February 2020, which depicted a character called Fantasy, a fusion between the main four Fantasy animatronics from JOLLY, possessing Jay and killing NumberFanagram and NumberLemon characters. While Fantasy himself is allowed to have a page, the videos that focus on him are blacklisted from the wiki because the whole topic of these videos is quite controversial, and that Jay doesn't feel like these videos warrant pages about them in fear that people would find these pages and mock him for it.
  • Round Thing - A Numberblocks animation made by Jay in 2020 where Four watches a video featuring a fanmade 'Infinity' made by Wolftail (who at the time was in NumberFanagram as 16). Because the Infinity is spherical in shape, Four gets angry and goes to shoot Wolftail's Infinity in the head before getting arrested by Nine. This video was made because Jay got very angry, likely due to the stress from being forced to stay home, after watching the video shown in Round Thing so much because Wolftail's infinity looked too similar to his in design minus the colour, so he made a video in response where Four shoots her in the head for being a round thing). It's very likely that Wolftail acknowledged Round Thing, since in their DeviantArt posts featuring their 'Infinity' character after the video's release, she is depicted with a bandage wrapped around her head to cover her injuries. Just like with the Fantasy videos, Jay regrets making Round Thing, and has prevented the video from having a page to show respect towards Wolftail.
  • Infinity (Wolftail) - The character originally made by Wolftail who appears in Round Thing. While Jay's own iteration of Infinity is allowed to have a page, the Infinity made by Wolftail is blacklisted from having a page be created for the same reasons as Round Thing (too contoversial to have a page and because Jay wanted to respect Wolftail.)
  • Jay's current series - As stated before, all content relating to Symbolics, One Jolly Day: Alteration Revision, the JOLLY Paradox series, Ultimate JOLLY Night: Legacy Edition, the Time Lords reboot series and Mashed Up are not allowed to have pages on the wiki. They used to, but due to the creation of an entirely new and separate wiki that has information about these series due to easier management, it isn't recommended to make pages relating to these series on this wiki as it has now been repurposed to be about Jay's older and more obscure series. If you are wondering why a lot of pages have been removed, this is the reason why.

Here are the two dates that are NOT allowed to be mentioned in the wiki due to being too controversial:

  • July 16, 2020 and Jay's removal from NFG - July 16, 2020 is an infamous date for Jay where he was removed from NumberFanagram for various reasons, mostly the intentional leaking of an unseen character as a sort of hostile revolt against the show's first episode releasing on July 31, his birthday, instead of July 15, the original intended release for the episode before getting changed. Jay's removal led to some people in the LBC to change views on him and some people who were friends with Jay to turn on him, and even led to arguments in the LBC about him. As of August 2023, as a form of irony, all mentions of this specific date and what happened during then will be removed as to not give people the wrong idea. Jay's involvement in NumberFanagram is still allowed to be mentioned in the wiki, but information about his removal will remain very minimal.
  • September 21, 2020 and Potate - September 21, 2020 is an infamous date for Jay where he got called out on Twitter (now X) by user Potate (formerly Payo) for his mishaps in the LBC, and it caused a lot of people to dislike Jay for a long while before Jay managed to find a way to fix his relationships in November 2020. Jay has completely recovered from the incident in August 2023, almost 3 years after it first happened. All mentions of said date and person will be removed from the wiki where it doesn't need to be, in order to not give people the wrong idea. September 21 as a date is however still allowed on the wiki, it's just the occurrence in 2020 that's the controversial one. Potate is also allowed to be mentioned in the wiki as long as it's not about what happened on that date.
